Since 1990 the fantastic mid-summer event and one of my favourites every year is the Royal Horticultural Society Hampton Court Palace Flower Show which takes place over 34 acres of stunning grounds showcasing world-class gardens and work of the leading landscape designers.
This year a very special 25th anniversary was celebrated for which a magnificent Anniversary Maze was erected. It became the largest feature at this years show spanning 900 square metres and it was made with almost 300m of hedging.
One of the favourite places of any London interior designer to visit is the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour. It boasts 102 showrooms placed in three domes, each of which span four floors. It is the perfect place for inspiration and to remind anyone in the industry why they do the job they do.

As our lives are becoming busier, soft pastels are back to compliment our lifestyles by creating a calming feel in the home. The popular pastels that we are enjoying this month are greens, pinks and blues.
Calming pastel greens look great with white, creating a refreshing but stylish look in your home this winter.
Merry Christmas from Allure House Interiors
It’s that time of year again when everyone is rushing around trying to find the perfect Christmas tree and rummaging around in the loft to find the decorations that come out year after year.
Choosing the right colours for your home can be challenging but don’t be afraid to use bold colours to brighten up your rooms. Mixing bright yellows and oranges with neutral colours is a great way to add some warmth to your elegant and stylish interiors.
