One of the favourite places of any London interior designer to visit is the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour. It boasts 102 showrooms placed in three domes, each of which span four floors. It is the perfect place for inspiration and to remind anyone in the industry why they do the job they do.
Being in the centre of London, the Design Centre is great for a day out as you can enjoy lunch in one of the two in-house cafes and soak up the atmosphere within the centre. Conveniently, it is also not too far from Allure House Interiors in Wimbledon.
The Design Centre is filled with many international fabric, furniture and lighting manufacturers and suppliers, enabling it to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for any interior design project.
Visiting the domes enables anyone to not only see the fabrics and wallpaper but to touch the unique textures too. However, if you cannot make it to the Design Centre then visit them online for inspira-tion of new styles and ideas at www.dcch.co.uk.
The Design Centre holds many events throughout the year for trade members and the public. This March, our team will be visiting Design Week to preview the new 2015 Spring/Summer collections. So watch this space as we will be updating you with our favourite pieces from the week.
