Design week 2015
At the beginning of the month many interior designers gathered to discover new collections and upcoming trends for Spring and Summer 2015. With thanks to the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London, a great show was put on. After walking round the showrooms it was obvious that designers have been inspired by nature this year. We saw luscious greens and bright yellows with a touch of turquoise too. Spring this year is all about bringing the outside into your home, allowing you to create a fresh bright feel with your interiors.

In contrast to the pink themed Design Week 2014, this year the Design Centre was all about the greens!

At the Design Centre we saw many new collections of fabric, wallpaper and beautiful trimmings for cushions and curtains, as well as a selection of furniture designs.

Some of our favourites were from Harlequin, Jim Thompson by Fox Linton and Sahco.

Harlequin’s collection features many bright colours and can be used to create a tropical feel in your home.

New Sahco Paradiso wallpaper was the highlight of their new wallcovering collection. As the name suggests, the pattern here is very special. The extremely finely drawn exotic birds create a unique innovative wall covering through the interplay of motif, colour, shape and yarn structure.
